Infrared Sauna

Traditional sauna uses heat to warm the air which in turn warms our body. An infrared sauna is different because it uses light to create heat and warms your body directly without warming the air around you.

How Does An Infrared Sauna Work?

These saunas use infrared panels instead of conventional heat to penetrate tissues that heat up your body. Infrared saunas usually operate between 48°C and 70°C. According to infrared sauna manufacturers only 20% of the heat goes to heating the air while 80% directly heats up the body. This allows the heat to penetrate more deeply into the body resulting in more intense sweats while increasing your core body temperature up to 2 degrees.
